Law360, New York (May 25, 2012, 7:07 PM ET) -- Ernst & Young LLP asked the Second Circuit on Wednesday to freeze a pending wage-and-hour class action against it as it appeals a judge's decision denying individual arbitration in the case, arguing that it would face exponentially higher legal costs if class certification were allowed to proceed.
A New York magistrate judge granted a partial stay in the case in March that put a stop to discovery but allowed the class certification process to continue.
