Law360, New York (June 29, 2012, 8:01 PM ET) -- A New Jersey medical center's attempt to pursue class action claims that IFA Insurance Company illegally paid adjusters with personal injury protection funds was thwarted Friday when an appellate court said the company suffered no damages.
Allied Neurology and Interventional Pain Practice PC of Englewood filed the action as an assignee of patient “A.R.” and others who say their benefits were reduced to pay for third-party claims processors, in violation of the state's Automobile Insurance Cost Reduction Act.
