Ex-Robbins Geller Atty Faces Sanctions Over Inflated Expenses

Law360, New York (August 01, 2012, 11:06 PM ET) -- A Washington federal judge has sanctioned a former Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP partner for submitting misleading expense reports for an ongoing securities class action settlement.

U.S. District Judge Justin L. Quackenbush on July 25 formally sanctioned attorney Joy Ann Bull, who according to the judge's order retired from Robbins Geller on Tuesday, and admonished partner John K. Grant after the two admitted they had made mistakes in October expense reports that sought nearly $225,000 in reimbursements, which they eventually revised down to about $100,000....
