'Brooklyn's Finest' Producers Sue Movie Distributor

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 12:16 PM ET) -- The production company behind the 2010 films “Brooklyn's Finest” and “Leaves of Grass” on Thursday sued Nu Image Inc. in California state court over an alleged breach of two distribution agreements.

Langley Films Inc., which also produces the reality television show “Cops,” claims it paid Nu Image more than $5 million to cover certain costs for Nu Image to distribute the two movies, but that Nu Image didn't live up to its promise to share a portion of the revenues with Langley.
