Constitution Guards Judges' Cost-Of-Living Pay, Fed. Circ. Told

Law360, New York (September 07, 2012, 8:23 PM ET) -- An attorney representing a class of federal judges seeking cost-of-living pay increases argued Friday before the Federal Circuit that the Compensation Clause of Article III of the Constitution protects judges' pay from diminution, including their retirement benefits.
