Law360, New York (August 29, 2012, 2:46 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday signed off on a $4 million settlement for more than 7,400 FedEx Corp. delivery drivers who claimed the company shorted them on overtime wages.
U.S. District Judge Thelton E. Henderson granted preliminary approval to a deal — first made public Tuesday — that will put to rest more than five years of litigation over allegations that FedEx violated California state labor laws by failing to pay overtime wages, provide proper meal breaks or keep sufficient pay records.
