Time Warner Workers Lose Class Cert. Bid In Wage Suit

Law360, New York (December 19, 2012, 5:45 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday refused to certify a California-only class of Time Warner Entertainment - Advance/New House Partnership employees who alleged they were forced to arrive 15 minutes early but weren't paid for the time, finding the plaintiffs had not shown commonality.

U.S. District Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel denied a motion for class certification by Time Warner technical support agents Kevin Waine-Golston and Andre Corbin after finding that the putative class members have different job duties, routines and methods of recording their time worked....
