Snyder's-Lance Says 'All-Natural' Snacks Didn't Cost More

Law360, New York (March 11, 2014, 5:56 PM ET) -- Snack company Snyder’s-Lance Inc. on Monday struck back against a putative class action in Florida federal court alleging it mislabeled “all-natural” snack products, arguing the plaintiffs did not pay a “premium price” for the products as they claim.

A class of customers who purchased Snyder’s-Lance pretzel and chip snacks labeled as “all-natural” or “natural” sued the company in November in Florida federal court, claiming the labeling was deceptive and misleading because some of the products contained genetically modified organisms.
