SmithKline Beecham Sued For Generic Flonase Delay

Law360, New York (July 16, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A union health care plan has filed a proposed class action against SmithKline Beecham Corp. for allegedly stalling the approval of a generic version of Flonase, the drugmaker's blockbuster nasal allergy medication.

The suit was filed by IBEW – NECA Local 505 Health & Welfare Plan Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
