ALPA Seeks To Get Age Discrimination Claims Tossed

Law360, New York (November 05, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The Air Line Pilots Association, accused by several Northwest Airlines pilots of negotiating a retirement benefits plan with the then-bankrupt airline that favored younger pilots over older ones, has filed a motion to dismiss the claims on the grounds that the plan is based only on years of service, not age.
