Sales Rep Takes Alltel To Court Over OT Wages

Law360, New York (January 14, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Alltel Communications LLC has become the latest wireless phone company to be hit with a putative wage-and-hour class action by a sales representative seeking unpaid overtime wages.

The lawsuit, filed this week in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, accuses Alltel of breaching the Fair Labor Standards Act by failing to include earned sales commissions in calculating workers' overtime pay.
