Court Boots Most Of Northwest Pilots' ERISA Suit

Law360, New York (January 27, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A judge has thrown out the bulk of a class action filed by Northwest Airlines Inc. pilots alleging that a pension plan is age discriminatory.

On Monday, Judge Joan N. Ericksen of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota granted summary judgment motions by Northwest and the Air Line Pilots Association in a case brought by Northwest Airlines pilots.
