Court Won't Toss Magnetix Toy Maker Liability Suit

Law360, New York (February 02, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has refused to dismiss a class action from parents alleging that Mega Brands Inc. acted negligently by manufacturing toy sets with easy-to-swallow magnets and failing to promptly report incidents to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission before eventually recalling more than 10 million toys.
