Legacy Of Life Fights Insurer For Organ-Selling Defense

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009, 1:41 PM ET) -- Nonprofit organ and tissue donation company Legacy of Life Inc. — facing a breach of contract suit for allegedly handing over donated organs to for-profit companies to sell — has fired back at Evanston Insurance Co. in a dispute over whether the insurer has a duty to defend the nonprofit.
