Law360, New York (February 01, 2010, 2:22 PM ET) -- A federal judge has awarded Kellogg Brown & Root International Inc. subcontractor Paul Morrell Inc. nearly $19 million in its breach of contract suit accusing the former Halliburton Co. subsidiary of inducing it to accept reduced payments for food services in Iraq.
Judge Anthony J. Trenga of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia issued the order Friday, following a two-month bench trial on PMI's claims for breach of contract, tortious interference with contract and fraudulent misrepresentation.
