$1.8B Bid-Rigging Suit Against DC Agencies Tossed

Law360, New York (June 28, 2010, 12:31 PM ET) -- A federal judge has thrown out a contractor's $1.8 billion suit accusing various agencies in the District of Columbia, including the D.C. Water and Sewer Authority, D.C. Department of Transportation and D.C. Department of Public Works, of engaging in the illegal bid-rigging of contracts.

Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Friday dismissed in its entirety an action John Cheeks brought against a slew of regulators and rival contractors.
