Veritas Fights Ex-Stakeholder's Work On Outside Deal

Law360, New York (February 22, 2011, 6:53 PM ET) -- A New York appeals court Tuesday mulled whether to revive many of hedge fund Veritas Capital Management LLC's claims that a former minority stakeholder violated his employment agreement by pursuing outside investments.

"We're talking about egregious actions," Ronald E. Richman of Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, which represents Veritas, told a panel of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, First Judicial Department.
