Law360, New York (June 02, 2011, 8:15 PM ET) -- A Vermont federal judge on Thursday threw out a suit over trade secrets and a noncompete agreement that OfficeMax Inc. brought against a former sales manager and his new employer, an OfficeMax rival.
The ruling ends the case and frees ex-OfficeMax employee William H. Ramsey to continue working at W.B. Mason Co., which he joined after OfficeMax laid off much of its sales staff in Ramsey's region and imposed stiffer quotas on the remaining employees.
