'Dog Whisperer' Barks At Production Co. Over Contract

Law360, New York (October 05, 2011, 12:38 PM ET) -- Dog trainer Cesar Millan, star of the National Geographic Channel program "Dog Whisperer," filed a breach of contract suit Monday against production company MPH Entertainment Inc., claiming it refused to allow Millan to audit the show's books.

In the suit filed in California state court, the plaintiff and his company, Primal Intelligence Inc., claim MPH reduced Millan's share of money generated from the program by more than $1 million when it took out nondeductible expenses from net revenue.
