Law360, New York (July 27, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Medtronic Inc. and Kyphon Inc. will resolve their patent dispute over spinal surgical tools once Kyphon is acquired by the larger medical device maker, the companies said Friday.
According to a stipulation filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Kyphon has agreed to be acquired by Medtronic, a deal that will ultimately resolve all of Medtronic’s infringement claims over a series of spinal device patents.
