Aaron Spelling's Widow Sues Auction House Over Dolls

Law360, Los Angeles (May 25, 2012, 3:07 PM ET) -- The widow of television producer Aaron Spelling has sued Maryland-based auction house Theriault's over the sale of a collection of antique dolls, alleging the company owes her money and the return of unsold items.

Candy Spelling claims Theriault's, which specializes in the sale of rare dolls, breached the terms of a consignment agreement signed in July because it didn't give a full accounting of the items sold at auction. The lawsuit, filed on April 30 in California state court, seeks damages in excess of $500,000....
