Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 9:42 PM ET) -- A Florida federal judge on Wednesday nixed a proposed class action against American Honda Motor Co. over an alleged defect that causes its cars' paint to appear faded, ruling the plaintiff had failed to bring a timely claim.
Florida resident Tara Matthews, owner of a 2003 Honda Accord, said she noticed the paint problem two years ago and filed suit in January 2012.
