Law360, New York (July 03, 2012, 9:10 PM ET) -- Claiming breach of contract and fraud, drug development services company Covance Inc. sued Attachmate Corp. in New Jersey on Monday seeking a ruling that it doesn't owe the software company $22 million in license fees, interest and maintenance charges.
Attachmate claims that West Windsor, N.J.-based Covance had tens of thousands of unlicensed deployments of its software on its computers following a 2011 audit, according to the declaratory judgment action in federal court.
