Sanofi, FedEx Hit Roadblock On Spoiled-Vaccine Settlement

Law360, New York (July 13, 2012, 3:27 PM ET) -- A Sanofi SA unit and Federal Express Corp. have reached an impasse in settlement talks over Sanofi's allegations that the shipping company ruined $7 million worth of vaccines, attorneys for the parties told a New York federal judge Friday.

Sanofi Pasteur Inc.'s complaint, filed April 12, says the company contracted with FedEx Custom Critical Inc. in 2009 for interstate truck transport of unspecified vaccines that had to be stored between 35 degrees and 46 degrees Fahrenheit. At some point, the air temperature in the truck dropped...
