NFL Players’ New Complaint To Be Kept Secret

Law360, New York (October 03, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has ruled that the third amended complaint of three plaintiffs in a proposed class action brought on behalf of 3,500 former players against the National Football League Players Association will be filed under seal.

In court documents filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Judge William Alsup ordered that the plaintiffs’ third amended complaint and related documents, information and testimony be sealed because they contain information the defendants have designated as highly confidential.
