Law360, Houston (August 20, 2012, 7:08 PM ET) -- Oil and gas company Gaither Petroleum Corp. on Friday launched a suit in Texas state court over a troubled joint venture, alleging that a business partner is trying to dodge its share of expenses incurred in the development of an oil field.
Gaither claims that Exploration Forest Hills Inc. refuses to share in development costs tied to a Texas oil field under the theory that it is merely a joint tenant in the field, despite acting as Gaither’s partner for more than two years.
