Suit Says Dollar Dupes Customers Into Unwanted Coverage

Law360, New York (August 27, 2012, 3:08 PM ET) -- A California consumer launched a putative class action against Dollar Rent-A-Car Inc. on Friday in California federal court, claiming the rental service systematically dupes renters into paying for collision damage waivers and insurance policies in rental contracts in spite of having specifically declined those policies.
