Law360, New York (August 30, 2012, 7:41 PM ET) -- The former director of “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” has resolved her copyright infringement and contract breach allegations that the musical's producers used her creative contributions without paying her, prompting a New York federal judge to close out the suit on Thursday.
U.S. District Judge Katherine B. Forrest discontinued Julie Taymor’s suit accusing 8 Legged Productions LLC and the other producers of “Turn Off the Dark” of incorporating her ideas into the Broadway musical without paying her royalties for her work.
