Chevron Faces Indemnity Claim In Navy Subcontractor Suit

Law360, New York (August 30, 2012, 6:40 PM ET) -- Chubb Corp. unit Federal Insurance Co. lodged a third-party complaint on Thursday against Chevron Energy Solutions Co. in a $1.4 million insurance dispute over work performed by contracting firm Piedmont Mechanical Inc. on a Navy power plant project, arguing that Chevron is obligated to indemnify FIC.
