Contract Shields Well Operator From Breach Claim: Texas Court

Law360, Dallas (August 31, 2012, 6:52 PM ET) -- The Supreme Court of Texas ruled Friday that revisions to a standard form used in oil and gas drilling agreements expanded the protection of an exculpatory clause, meaning an oil and gas operator cannot be found in breach without gross negligence or willful misconduct.
