'Sex And The City' Writer Smoothes Out Contract Dispute

Law360, New York (September 17, 2012, 6:02 PM ET) -- "Sex and the City" author Candace Bushnell recently settled a suit brought by her former business manager who claimed she ducked out of an agreement to pay him royalties from the lucrative film and television series.

U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero signed off on an order dismissing Clifford Streit’s breach of contract case with prejudice Wednesday, saying the parties had notified the New York federal court that they had reached an agreement resolving the case. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
