Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 11:03 PM ET) -- Armstrong Teasdale LLP on Wednesday won the dismissal of a malpractice suit accusing the law firm of mishandling the licensing of a firewall patent when a Missouri federal judge ruled the firm's former client could not show actual damages.
U.S. District Judge Carol E. Jackson granted Armstrong Teasdale's request for summary judgment because plaintiff James Joyce had failed to "establish a genuine issue of material fact as whether damages are reasonably ascertainable."
