Judge Partly Dismisses UAW From Benefits Suit

Law360, New York (May 06, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A judge has thrown out much of Caterpillar Inc.'s case against the United Auto Workers International union and seven local unions.

Judge Aleta A. Trauger of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee dismissed six of the local unions and part of the case against the remaining local and the national UAW on Thursday.
