Ex-Franchisee Accuses Petland Of Tying, Kickbacks

Law360, New York (November 21, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A former franchisee has accused Petland Inc. of violating both federal and Ohio state antitrust laws by illegally tying in its pet store franchise contracts, allegedly receiving kickbacks from sending franchisees to preferred vendors and conspiring with supplier Hunte Delivery System Inc. to form an illegal trust.
