Medtronic Loses Jury Trial Bid In Defibrillator Suit

Law360, New York (November 24, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has struck down a bid by Medtronic Inc. for a jury trial on its declaratory judgment claims in the latest chapter of a nearly two-decade-long litigation saga with Boston Scientific Corp. unit Guidant Corp. over two patents for implantable cardiac defibrillators.
