Homebuilder Lennar Sues Chinese Drywall Makers

Law360, New York (February 03, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Lennar Corp., the nation's second-largest homebuilder by volume, has sued more than two dozen manufacturers, suppliers and installers of drywall imported from China and installed in Florida homes, claiming the drywall emits unpleasant odors and causes electrical problems.

In a complaint filed Friday in the Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial District for Miami-Dade County, Lennar claims manufacturers Knauf Gips KG, Knauf Plasterboard Tainjin Co.
