ORAL ORDER re 456 Status Report: In accordance with the discussion on the record during the status conference on April 9, 2024, IT IS ORDERED that, on or before May 24, 2024, the parties shall submit four (4) joint proposed scheduling orders to govern the progression of the cases brought by the Ecuadorian Plaintiffs, the Costa Rican Plaintiffs, the Panamanian Plaintiffs, and the Guatemalan Plaintiffs, respectively. The proposed scheduling order governing the cases brought by the Ecuadorian Plaintiffs shall include relevant deadlines based on an estimated initial trial date in the fall of 2025. Proposed scheduling orders governing the cases brought by the Costa Rican, Panamanian, and Guatemalan Plaintiffs shall be limited to preliminary testing and discovery deadlines for purposes of ascertaining active groups of Plaintiffs while the cases involving the Ecuadorian Plaintiffs progress towards trial. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that an in-person scheduling conference is set for June 5, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in Courtroom 6C before Judge Sherry R. Fallon. Ordered by Judge Sherry R. Fallon on 4/9/2024. (lih)
