MINUTE entry before the Honorable Heather K. McShain: The Court has reviewed the parties' joint status report, 153 , which confirms that fact discovery is complete. The parties have also explained that they mutually agreed to extend an expert disclosure deadline set by the Court. The Court will construe the parties report as a joint motion to extend plaintiff's expert discovery deadline, for one expert, until 08/14/2026. In exercise of its "broad discretion in controlling discovery," Jones v. City of Elkhart, Ind., 737 F.3d 1107, 1115 (7th Cir. 2013), the Court grants the parties' request. On settlement, the parties report that no further settlement discussions have taken place and that they do not request a settlement conference at this time. Further joint status report due 10/19/2026 to update the Court on (a) the progress of expert discovery; (b) the state of settlement discussions, if any; and (c) any other matters the parties believe should be brought to the Court's attention.
