Order
ORDER Signed by the Honorable Amy J. St. Eve on 2/3/2015: Defendants filed a joint motion for an order to show cause why the claims of Plaintiff Salads of Schaumburg should not be dismissed with prejudice. The claims of Plaintiffs David and Denise Wojcik have been dismissed with prejudice pursuant to a settlement agreement reached between the Trustee of the Wojciks' bankruptcy estate and Defendants. Salads of Schaumburg has not been represented by counsel in this case since May 2014 when its counsel withdrew from the case. It is well settled that "[c]orporations unlike human beings are not permitted to litigate pro se." In re IFC Credit Corp., 663 F.3d 315, 318 (7th Cir. 2011) (citations omitted). The Court advised Mr. Wojcik that he could not represent the corporation and had to obtain counsel if Salads of Schaumburg wished to pursue the claims. The Court gave Salads of Schaumburg until January 7, 2015 to respond to this motion. It has failed to do so. Accordingly, the Court hereby grants the motion 86 and dismisses Salads of Schaumburg's claims against Defendants for failure to prosecute. Salads of Schaumburg, Inc. terminated.Mailed notice(kef, ) (Entered: 02/03/2015)
