Solvay To Pay Indirect Buyers $2.1M In Peroxide MDL

Law360, New York (June 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Solvay Chemicals Inc. has agreed to pay $2.1 million to settle with indirect purchasers in multidistrict litigation over alleged price-fixing in the hydrogen peroxide industry.

The parties filed a motion for preliminary approval of the settlement Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, about two months after direct purchaser plaintiffs settled with the last of the defendants.
