Law360, New York (June 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Rep. Henry Johnson, D–Ga., has introduced a bill that would extend for one year the Antitrust Criminal Penalty Enhancement and Reform Act's limits on civil damages for antitrust defendants that apply for the government's leniency program and cooperate with private antitrust actions.
H.R. 2675, introduced Wednesday, would push the expiration of the civil damages provision, currently set to expire on June 22, to June 22 of next year.
