BlueLinx Off Hook In Panel Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (August 06, 2009, 8:24 PM ET) -- A federal judge has granted building products distributor BlueLinx Corp.’s bid to be dismissed from a suit brought by Bailey Lumber & Supply Co. and 84 Lumber Co. accusing Georgia-Pacific Corp. and others of a conspiracy to fix prices for plywood and oriented strand board.

Judge Louis Guirola Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi signed off on a memorandum opinion and order dismissing the plaintiffs’ claims against BlueLinx without prejudice.
