Law360, New York (August 07, 2009, 5:34 PM ET) -- The European Union's ombudsman reportedly has criticized the EU's antitrust watchdog for disregarding “potentially exculpatory” evidence from a witness during its probe of Intel Corp., which ended with a record €1.1 billion ($1.56 billion) fine against the computer chip giant in May.
