Google Books Deal Spurs Alliance Over Antitrust Woes

Law360, New York (August 26, 2009, 7:17 PM ET) -- A collective of librarians, authors, publishers and technology companies including Amazon.com, Microsoft Corp. and Yahoo Inc. has banded together in firm opposition to the Google Books online virtual library settlement, which the group says will give Google and the publishers it settled with an anti-competitive edge.
