Law360, New York (September 15, 2009, 6:08 PM ET) -- Intel Corp. has accused the European Commission of serious errors in imposing a record €1.1 billion ($1.56 billion) fine against the computer chip giant for alleged monopoly abuse.
In its appeal to an EU court — a summary of which was published in the European Union's Official Journal on Tuesday — Intel calls for the commission's May decision to be completely overturned or for the fine to be slashed.
