Intel, AMD Exchange Shots In MDL Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (October 14, 2009, 7:32 PM ET) -- Microprocessor company Intel Corp. and rival Advanced Micro Devices Inc. on Wednesday exchanged motions to sanction one another in multidistrict litigation over antitrust issues.

Intel filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware to sanction AMD for document preservation and production lapses and to compel the company to remedy the situation.

On the same day, AMD filed a motion to sanction Intel for failure to preserve evidence.
