Law360, New York (December 15, 2009, 2:47 PM ET) -- The Vermont attorney general is looking into allegedly anti-competitive activities in the dairy industry, taking a cue from dairy farmers accusing the Dairy Farmers of America Inc. of seizing monopoly power and putting them in a choke hold.
The office of Attorney General William Sorrell announced Monday that it and the U.S. Department of Justice are seeking input from dairy farmers before deciding whether to take action against the alleged price-fixing conspiracy.
