Ice Cartel Whistleblower's Mandamus Request Denied

Law360, New York (March 02, 2010, 2:29 PM ET) -- An industry executive who blew the whistle on an alleged packaged ice cartel has lost a bid to get a federal appeals court to issue a writ of mandamus enforcing his rights under the Crime Victims' Rights Act as a victim of the conspiracy.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit on Monday denied a petition by former Party Time Ice executive Martin McNulty for a writ of mandamus so he could collect damages from Arctic Glacier International Inc.
