Law360, New York (March 09, 2010, 3:38 PM ET) -- Actavis Elizabeth LLC has paid $3.6 million to settle the state of Massachusetts' allegations that it jacked up the prices of drugs sold to the state's Medicaid program, becoming the latest pharmaceutical giant to have struck such a deal.
The settlement resolves Actavis' involvement in a Massachusetts False Claims Act case pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts that alleges Actavis reported false and inflated prices to drug industry price reporting services, state Attorney General Martha Coakley said Tuesday.
