Law360, New York (January 16, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The proposed takeover of Spanish energy company Endesa SA by German utility E.On AG inched closer to completion on Tuesday after a Madrid regional court lifted an injunction blocking a bid by Gas Natural.
A spokesperson for the regional court confirmed on Tuesday that it had lifted the injunction, Dow Jones reported. That news came less than a week after the Spanish Supreme Court removed the injunction it had placed on the bid by Gas Natural, a utility company controlled by the Spanish government.
